Presently, the lagoon is about 1. 5 kilometres (0. 93 miles) away from the ocean's edge and covers an area of about 18 km2 (6. 9 sq miles). At its deepest, the lake is approximately 200 meters (660 ft). Breaking off the glacial tongue, myriads of different shapes and sizes of icebergs fill
