We wire any delicate heads to ensure they remain intact, but cannot guarantee them withstanding more than 2 bro handshake hugs. So be warned. Traditionally, boutonnires are pinned using 2 pins that you stick from the underside of the lapel either upwards or downwards at an angle to prevent the sharp end from sticking
